For marketing & digital agencies

Marketing agency sales training, so the founder isn’t the only one who can close.

Most agencies grow at the speed of one person’s calendar. Kollup lets your new-business hires and account managers practise the discovery call, the pricing conversation and “we’ve been burned by an agency before” against an AI prospect who pushes back like a real one — and get a scored report after every call.

The problem

Your agency sells on one person’s calendar.

The founder closes most of the deals because they’re good at it. The new-business hire learns on leads that took months to generate. Account managers were hired to run campaigns, not to sell — yet they’re the ones on the call when results dip, when the client wants more for the same fee, or when a rival agency pitched them last week. Nobody has had a chance to practise any of it.

Every pitch

Discovery, budget, proposal follow-up. New-business hires rehearse the whole cycle before they take a lead the founder would have closed.

Every client

Account managers practise the renewal, the upsell and the difficult monthly review before they have them with a client worth a year’s retainer.

Every service

SEO, paid media, social, web, branding. Each service gets its own prospects, its own objections and its own scoring emphasis.

New business & account management

Every call that wins or loses a retainer.

Selling marketing services is two jobs: winning the client, then keeping them. Kollup covers both, so the people who have those conversations get to rehearse them first.

Agency new business

Discovery calls and the pitch

Qualifying the lead, diagnosing the real problem, getting budget and the decision-maker onto the first call — and running the pitch conversation that follows.

  • “We’ve been burned before”
  • “We do it in-house”
  • “Can you guarantee results?”
  • “My nephew does our Instagram”
Pricing & proposals

The price talk and the ghosted proposal

Defending a retainer against a freelancer’s quote, explaining a minimum term, and the follow-up call to the prospect who went quiet the day the proposal landed.

  • “Your retainer is too high”
  • “A freelancer quoted half”
  • “Can we go month-to-month?”
  • “We need to think about it”
Account management

Renewals, upsells and the bad-month call

Agency account management is sales under another name: the review where leads were down, the client asking for “one more thing” at the same fee, and the renewal after a competitor’s pitch.

  • “Leads were down this month”
  • “Why are we paying for this?”
  • “Can you just add this too?”
  • “Another agency pitched us”
Built around what you sell

Five services, five different sales conversations.

A dental group buying local SEO, an online shop buying paid ads and a B2B firm buying LinkedIn content don’t worry about the same things. Practice only helps when the prospect sounds like the ones your agency actually talks to.

  • A scenario per service and client type. Build the prospects you meet most, with their industry, budget, past agency experience and objections. Unlimited scenarios, so a new service line doesn’t mean a new licence.
  • Your packages and pricing in the call. Describe what’s in each retainer, your minimum terms and the results you can point to, so your team practises selling your offer — not a generic one.
  • Score what the call is for. The focus-areas field shifts the weighting per scenario — budget and decision-maker on a first discovery call, a clear next step on a proposal follow-up, keeping the client calm on a bad-month review.
  • The founder reviews, instead of sitting in. Every attempt is scored on the same rubric with the transcript attached, so you can coach from a five-minute read rather than joining every call.
How it works

Three steps. That’s the whole product.

  1. 1

    Build the prospect or client

Start from the deal you lost last month or the client call everyone dreads. Set the business, the mood, the objections, the language and the voice, then assign it to the new-business team, the account managers or one person.

Founder or head of growth · 5 minutes
  2. 2

    Your team runs the call

In the browser, before a pitch or between client meetings. A real voice picks up, stays in character, gets impatient and hangs up if they talk over it — like the business owner who gave you fifteen minutes between patients.

Team member · until the prospect hangs up
  3. 3

    The report lands

Seconds later: an overall score, four sub-scores, what they did well and the one thing to change — quoting their own words. You coach from the report instead of from memory of a call you weren’t on.

Lead generation & outbound agencies

Making calls on your clients’ behalf? Train on their pitch first.

If your agency runs outbound, appointment setting or lead qualification for clients, your callers switch between several companies’ products in a single week. Appointment setting training has to happen per client, and the client wants to know it did.

Per client

A programme for every client account

Build each client’s prospects, product detail and approved wording into its own scenario set, and assign it only to the callers working that account. Adding a client doesn’t cost more — scenarios are unlimited.

  • Scenario set per client
  • Assign by caller
  • Voice or text
Proof

Show clients their callers were trained

Share any report as a read-only link with the transcript attached, or save it as a PDF — evidence in a monthly review, or in a proposal, that your team practised the client’s pitch before touching their list. Links can be revoked at any time.

International clients

Your client is in Munich. Your account manager is in Limassol.

Agencies in smaller markets often win clients abroad — and then send someone to pitch or review results in a language they learned at school. Kollup runs practice calls, Live Assist and coaching reports in 28+ languages, and every report can come back in English, so the founder can coach a call held in German, Greek or French.

Kollup Live Assist

And on the calls that count.

Practice builds the habit. Live Assist is there when it’s a real prospect or client — listening along and suggesting the next move while the conversation is still happening.

  • Grounded in your own playbook — you build a knowledge base once: your services and packages, pricing and minimum terms, what account managers can offer without the founder, the case studies worth quoting, and your best answer to every objection you hear weekly.
  • Ask it mid-call — “what’s our minimum term on paid media?” is answered on screen, silently, instead of “let me check and come back to you”.
  • A report afterwards too — objections raised, how the call ended, talk ratio, interruptions.
  • Kollup keeps no recordings. Audio is transcribed as it happens and discarded — only text is stored, inside your own account.
Pricing

Seats and minutes. That’s the whole model.

Every plan has the whole product — voice, text, Live Assist, 28+ languages, unlimited scenarios, coaching reports. What changes is how many people are on it and how much practice each one gets. Same plans as the rest of Kollup.

1

How many people

One seat per person — the founder, the new-business hire, the account managers, the callers. When someone moves on, reassign their seat that day; you pay for the chair, not the name on it.

2

How much practice

A monthly pool of minutes shared across the agency. A new hire in their first weeks uses plenty; an experienced account manager rehearsing one tricky renewal uses very little. Onboarding a new client’s calling team next month? Email us and we add minutes to that month’s invoice.

Questions

What agencies ask on the demo

What should marketing agency sales training cover?

Both halves of the job. Winning clients: qualifying leads, running a discovery call that finds the real problem, having the budget conversation early, pitching and following up on proposals. Keeping them: monthly reviews, the call when results dip, renewals, upsells and saying no to scope creep without losing the client.

Most marketing agency sales training covers what to say. What it usually lacks is practice — enough rehearsed calls that your team has heard “we’ve been burned before” many times before a real prospect says it. That’s the part Kollup handles.

Our account managers aren’t salespeople. Is this for them?

Especially for them. Account managers have the calls that decide whether a retainer renews — the difficult review, the upsell, the pushback on scope — usually without ever having been trained for them. Kollup lets them rehearse those conversations privately, as often as they need, before they have them with a client.

Can the AI prospect talk about our services and pricing?

Yes. Each scenario includes the detail you give it — what you sell, how your retainers are priced, your minimum terms and the results you can point to — so the prospect asks the questions and raises the objections your team really hears. For live calls, the Live Assist knowledge base holds the same playbook.

Which agency calls can we practise?

Cold outreach to local or B2B businesses, discovery calls, budget conversations, pitch conversations, proposal follow-ups, pricing and minimum-term negotiations, monthly or quarterly reviews, renewals, upsells, scope-creep conversations and win-back calls to lapsed clients. The scoring rubric is discovery, objection handling, product knowledge and closing.

Can we rehearse a full pitch presentation?

Kollup rehearses the conversation, not the slides. It’s the part of a pitch that goes off-script: the questions the prospect asks, the objections they raise, and whether your team gets to a clear next step. It works best the day before a pitch, with a scenario built around that specific prospect.

We make calls for our clients. Can we train callers per client?

Yes. Build a scenario set per client with their product detail and approved wording, and assign it to the callers on that account. Reports can be shared with the client as read-only links, so they can see their callers were trained on their pitch. Scenarios are unlimited, so a new client doesn’t cost more.

Do we need to connect our CRM or phone system?

No. Kollup runs in the browser and practice calls happen inside it — click a link, allow the microphone once, and you’re on a call. Nothing to install and nothing to integrate.

Which languages can we practise in?

28+, including German, French, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Greek, Polish, Romanian, Turkish, Russian, Arabic and the Nordic languages. The language is set per scenario, so a team pitching clients in several countries can practise each market, and reports can come back in one language for the founder.

What happens to our call data?

Kollup doesn’t keep recordings. Audio is transcribed as it’s spoken and discarded — we store only the text, inside your own company’s space, never visible to another customer. Every account is isolated at the database level. Our Data Processing Agreement is published if your clients ask how their information is handled.

Do you work with agencies outside Cyprus?

Yes. We’re based in Limassol, but Kollup runs in the browser and onboarding happens on a call, so where your agency sits makes no difference to how it’s set up.

Bring us the objection that costs you retainers

Thirty minutes, no slide deck. Tell us who you sell to and the moment calls go wrong — we’ll build that prospect live and run it on the spot. If it isn’t convincing, you’ll know inside five minutes.
