For car dealerships & dealer groups

Car sales training that turns more enquiries into test drives.

Buyers research online and call before they ever visit — and new sales staff usually learn the phone on those leads. Kollup lets your sales executives, BDC team and service advisors practise the enquiry call, the trade-in conversation and “what’s your best price?” against an AI customer who pushes back like a real one, with a scored report after every call.

The problem

Your newest salesperson answers your most expensive leads.

Dealers pay for their online enquiries — then hand the phone to whoever is free. New sales executives learn to handle “what’s your best price?” on live leads, service advisors learn to call customers about extra work by getting it wrong, and sales managers can’t roleplay with everyone between walk-ins. Most automotive sales training happens in a classroom once a year; the calls happen every day.

Every enquiry

Phone-ups, online leads, no-shows and confirmation calls — practised before the next real one comes in.

Every team

Sales executives, BDC, service advisors and business managers. Each gets its own customers and its own scoring emphasis.

Every model

New launch, new offer, new electric range. Update the scenario and the whole team practises the pitch before the first customer asks.

Sales · BDC · aftersales

Every conversation that sells a car — or loses one.

Dealership sales training usually stops at the showroom. But the deal is often won or lost earlier on the phone, and kept or lost later in the service department.

BDC & phone enquiries

Enquiries, follow-up and booking the visit

BDC training for the calls that decide whether a buyer ever reaches the showroom: phone-ups, online lead follow-up, no-show recovery and appointment confirmations.

  • “Just give me your best price”
  • “Is it still available?”
  • “I’m only looking”
  • “Send me the details by email”
Sales executives

Price, trade-in and the close

The negotiation, the trade-in valuation they didn’t like, the partner who needs to see it first, and the buyer comparing you with the dealer down the road.

  • “The other dealer is €1,500 cheaper”
  • “My car is worth more than that”
  • “I need to ask my partner”
  • “I’ll wait for the new model”
Service advisors

Aftersales calls customers trust

Service advisor training for the call nobody enjoys: phoning a customer mid-service about extra work, explaining a quote clearly, and handling the complaint when the car isn’t ready.

  • “Can’t it wait until next service?”
  • “The garage down the road is cheaper”
  • “You said it’d be ready today”
  • “Why wasn’t this found last time?”
Built around your showroom

Your brands, your stock, your way of selling.

A family choosing a seven-seater, a retiree trading in a ten-year-old saloon and a fleet manager pricing twenty vans don’t sound alike. Practice only helps when the customer sounds like the ones who actually call your dealership.

  • A scenario per brand, model and buyer. New and used, retail and fleet, petrol, hybrid and electric. Unlimited scenarios, so a new franchise or a new site doesn’t mean a new licence.
  • Your process in the call. Describe how you handle price requests on the phone, how trade-ins are valued and what an executive can offer without the sales manager, so your team practises your process — not a generic one.
  • Score what the call is for. The focus-areas field shifts the weighting per scenario — a booked appointment on an enquiry call, a clear explanation and a decision on a service call, holding margin on a negotiation.
  • Ready before they get the phones. Every attempt is scored on the same rubric, so you can see which new starters are ready for live enquiries and who needs another week of practice first.
How it works

Three steps. That’s the whole product.

  1. 1

    Build the customer

Take the calls your team actually gets — the online enquiry who wants a price, the trade-in they think is worth more, the service customer who wasn’t expecting a bill. Set the mood, the objections, the language and the voice, then assign it to a department, a site or one person.

Sales or aftersales manager · 5 minutes
  2. 2

    Your team runs the call

In the browser, on a quiet morning or between walk-ins. A real voice picks up, stays in character, pushes back and hangs up if they talk over it — just like the customer who rang yesterday.

Staff member · until the customer hangs up
  3. 3

    The report lands

Seconds later: an overall score, four sub-scores, what they did well and the one thing to change — quoting their own words. The sales manager coaches from the report instead of from a call they didn’t hear.

    Automatic · instant
Electric & new models

Selling electric means new questions every day.

Buyers moving to their first electric or hybrid car arrive with questions many sales executives haven’t been asked often enough to answer confidently. The fix is repetition — before the customer is in front of them.

EV objections

The questions first-time EV buyers ask

Build the buyer who is worried about winter range, has nowhere to charge at home, or has read something about battery life — and let your team practise answering from your brand’s real information, calmly and accurately.

  • “What about range in winter?”
  • “Where would I charge it?”
  • “How long does the battery last?”
  • “What will it be worth in three years?”
Launches & offers

Everyone ready on launch day

When a new model arrives or the manufacturer changes an offer, update the scenario once. Every executive across every site practises the new pitch that afternoon, instead of learning it on the first customer who asks.

  • New model launches
  • Monthly offers
  • Every site at once
Languages

Not every buyer calls in your language.

Dealers in mixed markets hear from expats, cross-border buyers and international fleet clients. Kollup runs practice calls, Live Assist and coaching reports in 28+ languages, and every report can come back in one language, so a sales manager can coach a call held in Russian, German or Arabic without speaking it.

Kollup Live Assist

And on the calls that count.

Practice builds the habit. Live Assist is there when it’s a real customer — listening along and suggesting the next move while the conversation is still happening.

  • Grounded in your own playbook — you build a knowledge base once: model guides, warranties and service plans, how you handle price and finance questions on the phone, and your best answer to every objection your team hears weekly.
  • Ask it mid-call — “what’s the battery warranty on this model?” is answered on screen, silently, instead of “let me find out and call you back”.
  • A report afterwards too — objections raised, how the call ended, talk ratio, interruptions.
  • Kollup keeps no recordings. Audio is transcribed as it happens and discarded — only text is stored, inside your own account.
Pricing

Seats and minutes. That’s the whole model.

Every plan has the whole product — voice, text, Live Assist, 28+ languages, unlimited scenarios, coaching reports. What changes is how many people are on it and how much practice each one gets. Same plans as the rest of Kollup.

1

How many people

One seat per person — sales executives, BDC, service advisors. Dealership teams change often; reassign a seat the day someone leaves, because you’re paying for the chair, not the name on it.

2

How much practice

A monthly pool of minutes shared across the group. New starters and launch months use plenty; experienced executives barely touch them. Opening a new site or taking on a new brand? Email us and we add minutes to that month’s invoice.

So let’s work out what your dealership actually needs

Questions

What dealerships ask on the demo

What should car sales training cover?

The whole journey, not just the showroom: handling phone and online enquiries, booking and confirming appointments, qualifying the buyer, presenting the car, valuing the trade-in, negotiating price and closing — then aftersales, where service advisors keep the customer coming back.

Most car sales training covers the steps in a classroom. What it usually lacks is repetition — enough practice conversations that a new executive has heard “what’s your best price?” many times before a real buyer says it. That’s the part Kollup handles.

Is it only for phone calls, or showroom conversations too?

Kollup is a voice role-play, so phone and online-enquiry calls are the most natural fit. But the conversation at the heart of a showroom visit — qualifying, the trade-in discussion, the price negotiation, asking for the sale — works just as well as a spoken practice call. The walk-around and the test drive still happen in the showroom.

Does it work for BDC training?

Yes — it’s one of the best fits. BDC agents make the same kinds of calls all day: online lead follow-up, phone-ups, appointment setting, confirmations and no-show recovery. Build those customers once, assign them to the team, and score each call on whether it ended with a booked, confirmed visit.

Can service advisors use it?

Yes. Service advisor training often gets the least attention in a dealership, yet the calls are hard: explaining extra work mid-service, justifying a quote against a cheaper independent garage, and handling a customer whose car isn’t ready. Build those customers with your own labour rates and service plans, and advisors practise before they pick up the phone.

Can we build scenarios for our own brands and models?

Yes. Each scenario includes the detail you give it — the model, the buyer’s situation, their trade-in, their objections and your process for price and finance questions. Scenarios are unlimited, so a multi-franchise group can build a set per brand and per site without paying more.

Can it help our team sell electric cars?

That’s one of the most useful places to start. Build first-time EV buyers with real concerns — winter range, home charging, battery life, resale value — and give the scenario your brand’s actual figures and warranty terms. Executives practise answering accurately and calmly, and the report shows where they guessed.

Do we need to connect our DMS or CRM?

No. Kollup runs in the browser and practice calls happen inside it — click a link, allow the microphone once, and you’re on a call. Nothing to install, no dealer management system integration and no IT project before you can trial it at one site.

Which languages can our team practise in?

28+, including Greek, English, Russian, German, French, Arabic, Romanian, Polish, Turkish and the Nordic languages. The language is set per scenario, and reports can come back in one language for the whole group, so a manager can coach a call in a language they don’t speak.

What happens to our call data?

Kollup doesn’t keep recordings. Audio is transcribed as it’s spoken and discarded — we store only the text, inside your own company’s space, never visible to another customer. Every account is isolated at the database level, so one dealer group can never see another’s scenarios, calls or reports.

Do you work with dealerships outside Cyprus?

Yes. We’re based in Limassol, but Kollup runs in the browser and onboarding happens on a call, so where your dealership is makes no difference to how it’s set up.

Bring us the call your team keeps losing

Thirty minutes, no slide deck. Tell us what you sell and the enquiry your newest executives struggle with — we’ll build that customer live and run it on the spot. If it isn’t convincing, you’ll know inside five minutes.
